IT Project - Smart Parking
In this project, we design a Smart Parking system controlled by the Micro:bit. The system uses an infrared to detect whether a parking spot is occupied or empty. When a car enters the parking area, the sensor measures the distance and sends the data to the Micro:bit. If the spot is available, the Micro:bit displays a signal on its LED screen or activates a green light. If the spot is taken, it shows a red light or a “Full” message. The system can also be connected to a barrier gate, which automatically opens when a car is allowed to enter and closes when the spot is full. This Smart Parking solution helps organize vehicles efficiently, reduces congestion, and provides a modern, automated way to manage parking spaces.
